2-time ADRL Pro Nitrous National Event Winner Terry Housley will be piloting the Ballance Racing '53 Corvette at this years Street Car Super Nationals, Nov 19-22 at "The Strip" at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Hughes Performance Pro Street class..

Joining the team as well for the Super Nats will be Terry's son Blake... Mark, Bryan, Chris and Irv Ballance already make up this very talented crew, "but adding Blake Housley will give us the much needed experience to compete at this very competitive race" says team owner Irv Ballance... "We're all really excited about the additions to our team and look forward on improving on our semi-final finish at last years SCSNs"

With the SCSN IV only a week away, Father & Son Team Joe & Cody Bennett are chomping at the bit... With two runner-ups and semi final this year with the PSCA, we are counting the minutes until the Street Car Super Nationals start!!! Last year we came up a little short at the SCSN III with a RU finish in Double Index... Cody "The Kid" Bennett will be driving in Open Comp in our little red Vega for the World Finals make up race and for the SCSN IV, while the elder Bennett "Joe" battles in Double Index. Next year we plan on running 2 cars in the PSCA's Mean Street Class. Well, not exactly..... Jimmy Biggs and the Your Way Network will be in Las Vegas for the Chris Alston's Chassisworks Street Car Super Nationals, November 20-23, and you know what that means?? Up to 2.5 million sets of eyeballs in 130 plus countries will get an opportunity to "see what really happens in Vegas?" Jimmy will have his live streaming video going from start to finish from Friday - Sunday. In addition, Jimmy will be in the pits interviewing the racers, sponsors and maybe a few spectators thrown in.

This special presentation of the YWN live coverage of the SCSN event in Vegas and the later footage will be presented and sponsored by Accufab, Inc.

Racer Gate To Open At 9am On Thursday Nov 20th...

Do to the large amount of cars expected for this event, we will now open the gates at 9am on Thursday for pit parking... Test n Tune will be from 4pm - 8:30 with the Muscle Motors Quickest Pro Street Challenge from 8:30-9:00pm ($500.00 to the quickest Pro Street pass during that session) Staging lanes will close to all other class cars at 8pm on Thursday evening.

If anyone wants to drop off their rig on Wednesday (No camping inside the gates on Wednesday night only) between 12noon and 5pm, give me a call at 661-917-3078

We have just learned that Record Setting Drag Radial Racer Paul Major will be making the trek from Fort Salonga, New York to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the 2008 Street Car Super Nationals Nov 20-23 on the legendary Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Xtreeme Drag Radial class..... Earlier this year in Englishtown New Jersey... Paul and his corvettemajor.com '01 Z06 Corvette reset the Drag Radial MPH World Record with a mind boggling 205.04!!! Paul also set his personal best ET (7.23) the same weekend (Shakedown at E-Town)
